2021 Stetten Rossthalberg Silvaner VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat nutty, smoky and slightly yellow-spicy scent with warm yellow-fruity aromas, bacony and herbaceous nuances, distinct minerality and a strikingly dark background as well as a little lavender with air. Ripe, again somewhat warm, quite densely knit, quite dry fruit, clearly vegetal aromas, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, clearly mineral, again a dark impression on the palate, herbal tones in the background, still undeveloped, a touch of bacon, very good finish.
