2021 Retzstadt Chardonnay VDP.Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Still somewhat undeveloped, nutty and slightly buttery aroma with pome fruit aromas, some citrus fruits and light woody hints. Very dry, bright, melting fruit, nutty and again bright woody aromas, a little vegetal on the palate, reminiscent of artichoke and a little legumes, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, good persistence, chalky mineral notes in the background, again a touch of butter, very good, tart finish.
