2021 Retzbach Benediktusberg Silvaner VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm and quite deep, quite complex, somewhat nutty and a little herbaceous bouquet with rather calm yellow fruity aromas, hints of yellow spice, certain barrel tones and fine vegetable aromas. Firm also in the mouth, tart, ripe, very slightly warm, tart-juicy fruit with very fine acidity and a lot of grip, smoky to slightly bacony, herbal and nutty tones on the palate, a little root vegetables behind, clear minerality, densely woven, very good, tart-juicy, grippy and spicy finish.
