2016 Retzbach Benediktusberg Grauburgunder trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm nose, light njutty, yeasty and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, pomaceous fruit and a hint of citrus. Tart, elegant, juicy, surprisingly cool fruit on the palate, still undeveloped, nutty and elegant vegetal aromas, good persistence, floral traces, some grip, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very good finish. Needs some time to mature.
