2016 Rech Herrenberg Spätburgunder trocken, Ahr, Germany

Light nutty and dried vegetal notes on the nose, hint of spicy coffee, partly preserved red and a few black berries. Straightforward, delicately sweet fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, vegetal and peppery traces, light bite, fine tannins, citrus notes in the background, nutty and salty traces, fairly good, slightly sweetish finish.
