2016 Spätburgunder trocken Pulsahr, Ahr, Germany

Slightly muted nose, vegetal and light earthy notes, predominantly red berries, malted notes, hint of mushrooms and tobacco. Preserved fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy aromas, slightly muted, hint of tobacco, salty traces, integrated, slightly astringent tannins, hint of bacon, fairly persistent, noticeable warm alcohol, not particularly deep, light floral notes and a hint of citrus on a good finish.
