2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Oberglanz Riesling trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Quite cool, still a little smoky-reductive, somewhat floral, herbal and fine-vegetable core and stone fruit scent with nuances reminiscent of lavender. Polished, bright, delicately melting fruit with a hint of pepper, lively, almost present acidity, has grip and good persistence, smoke again in the background, salty and chalky minerality, hints of yeast, very good finish with bite.
