2019 trocken "50:50", Austria

Firm and quite deep, yeasty, nutty and yellow-spicy aroma with dried floral, yellow fruity and smoky notes, orange zest, salt lemons, bergamot, cool essential herbs and a hint of mustard seed. Bone-dry, extremely tightly knit fruit with nutty, dried-vegetable and yellow-spicy notes, a little vegetable and floral on the palate, noticeable, slightly sandy tannin, fine acidity that becomes more present with air, delicate Traminer bitterness, good substance and persistence, some power, protein in the background, very good, if still slightly phenolic-drying finish. Should mature a little more.
