2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Schlingelberg Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Zeit & Ruh, IC®", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Quite firm and deep, somewhat ethereal-herbal, nutty and tobacco aroma of ripe yellow fruits with a hint of pepper, dried mushrooms and sea buckthorn. Ripe, firm fruit with nutty wood tones, fine acidity, distinct tannic grip, good persistence, some depth, hints of brown butter, pepper and sage, earthy and chalky tones, a hint of bamboo, very good, slightly smoky finish with some draw, but also still some drying wood
