2021 Brauneberg Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Firm, fine-vegetable citrus-stone fruit scent with floral nuances, nutty hints, restrained yellow spice, fine mushroom notes, pistachios, smoke and a little egg yolk. Ripe, firm, tangy fruit with nutty and slightly yeasty flavours, very fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, has substance, delicately creamy, again a touch of egg yolk, certain barrel tones, relatively dark earthy-mineral tones in the background, then some tree bark, fine mushroom notes and pepper, shows origin, very good, firm, tangy-juicy finish with grip, minerality and fine, again black-peppery spiciness.
