2003 Brauneberg Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling trocken Goldkapsel, Mosel, Germany

Spicy, yeasty notes on the nose, behind this prominent mineral notes, partly candied pomaceous and stone fruit. Good presence on the palate, juicy and firm, mineral notes and more spicy yeasty notes, very elegant, harmonious acidity, excellent structure, appears much more full-bodied than it is, has depth and surprising substance, slightly rough tannins in the background, very good, long finish. Needs time to mature, and may still improve.
