Slightly warm, more red than black berry aroma with floral and nutty notes, restrained barrel tones and hints of Mediterranean herbs. Ripe, again slightly warm fruit, nutty, somewhat smoky and slightly roasted notes, a hint of herbs and salt, crumbly-sandy, still a hint of drying tannin, certain persistence, chocolatey notes, slightly chalky and salty in the background, good to very good, tart finish with a hint of juniper.
