2007 Wagram trocken Reserve "Gigama", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Compact and fairly complex nose, some spicy green oak, cool with preserved red berries and cherries. Still has fairly prominent oak on the palate, compact preserved berry fruit, some delicate dark chocolate, touch of coconut and cherry-brandy chocolates, has some substance, fairly persistent, still rather closed, integrated medium fine-grained tannins, full-bodied but also quite elegant, delicate bitter touch on a very good finish. Needs time to develop.
