2000 Wagram trocken Reserve "Gigama", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Medium-intense mature nose, plums and partly dried dark berries, roasted, spicy oak. Prominent oak, too, on the palate, roasted notes and some smoked meat, some ripe fruit behind this, quite fine, slightly astringent tannins with good presence, hint of grilled peppers, fairly juicy, medium depth, good long finish.
