1999 Wagram Ried Scheiben Grüner Veltliner trocken Lagenreserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Matrue, complex nose with prominent mineral nose, herbs, white and green vegetables and partly dried pomaceous fruit, delicate tart notes. Mature on the palate too, prominent honeyed notes and some bitter notes, moderate elegant acidity, some astringent tannins, mineral notes in the background, sweetish and creamy, attractive to good finish. Already past its peak, but comes to life again briefly with some aeration.
