Rather cool red berry nose with a little sour cherry and black berry nuances, herbal and planty tones, especially reminiscent of parsley, mushrooms and hints of bacon. Tart fruit with present smoky and somewhat toasty wood, somewhat sandy and drying tannin, good persistence, peppery and tarry notes in the background, medium power, a hint of bacon, dried vegetal nuances, a hint of juniper, salty hints, good to very good, only somewhat drying finish again.

Editor note: Somewhat mushroomy, smoky, floral and planty to herbal scent of predominantly red berries with delicate blackberry and cherry hints and dark toasty aromas. Relatively lean fruit, some acidity and fine sandy, youthful tannin, smoky and peppery notes on the palate, a little herbal to herbal, salt in the background, some persistence, ashy nuances, chalky-salty hints, good to very good, tart, slightly drying finish.
