Firm on the palate, ripe, predominantly dark fruit, smoky, toasted and slightly sooty oak, dark chocolate, vegetal and herbaceous notes, earthy and mineral notes in the background, fine, dusty, partly astringent tannins, quite persistent, but not particularly deep, slightly astringent again on a good to very good finish.
