2019 Ried Tatschler trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, cool, fine citrus nose with pome and stone fruit aromas, nutty tones, a touch of butter and vegetal as well as fine herbal nuances, mushrooms and a hint of nutmeg. Ripe, melting, somewhat warm fruit, nutty and delicately smoky wood notes, fine acidity, still very slightly sandy tannin that binds with air, a touch of nut butter on the palate, some fennel and hints of eucalyptus, good persistence, hints of bacon, very good, somewhat grippy, slightly smoky finish with a certain alcohol warmth.
