2009 Ried Point trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Woody-spicy, earthy and somewhat dried and fleshy scent of partly dried black berries with dried mushroom and vegetal nuances as well as a hint of malt and bread spices. Ripe, rather juicy, somewhat warm dark fruit, very crumbly tannin and fine bite, lasting, somewhat spicy and ethereal-herbal, cedar-like notes, salt in the background, slightly smoky, accessible, but also rather firm, very good, tart, slightly warm finish
