2004 Chardonnay-Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Burgenland, Austria

Some caremel and yellow fruit on the nose, moderate notes of botrytis and oak, delicate nutty notes and a touch of bread and hay. Preserved ripe apricots and papaya on the palate, very sweet, but elegant, quite well balanced by fairly unobtrusive acidity, caramel and some cedary wood, orange marmelade on a good, long finish.
