2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Steinkogl Grauburgunder trocken "Der Stein", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Nutty and slightly dried planty to tobacco aroma of pome fruit and hints of red berries as well as a hint of root vegetables. Ripe, relatively tart fruit, very fine acidity and some grip, clearly nutty aromas, planty to tobacco and smoky hints, a hint of mushrooms on the palate, certain power and good persistence, yeasty traces, salt in the background, black berry nuances, still young, some depth, very good, quite firm finish with juice and fine, again delicately smoky spice.
