Firm and deep, still smoky-reductive, quite noble citrus scent with stone fruit notes, herbs, tobacco, okra and mineral hints. Taut, fairly juicy, dense, again noble fruit, nutty, yeasty flavours and again some smoky reduction, lively, fine acidity, grip of ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, has tension and a certain depth, clear minerality, tart herbal hints, very good, firm finish with grip, juice and tension.

Best to drink: 2026-2034+. What our ratings mean
