2016 Riesling trocken kaufmann "tell", Rheingau, Germany

Nose still slightly muted, light nutty notes, pomaceous fruit, earthy and mineral notes, delicate yeasty and peppery traces, hint of herbs. Ripe, fairly juiicy, slightly warm fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, hint of green tobacco, more peppery and herbaceous notes, good substance and persistence, delicately sweetish and creamy, but also has tart spicy notes, some depth, fairly tranquil style, hint of olive oil, traces of ash and salty notes in the background, still slightly muted on a very good finish.
