2009 Süd-Steiermark Ried Gamlitzberg Chardonnay trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairly cool mineral nose, nutty and herbaceous notes, candied citrus fruit and partly preserved pomaceous fruit, prominent mineral notes. Full-bodied on the palate, but also cool, light nutty notes, spicy oak, prominent vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, elegant, fairly lively acidity, good persistence, very lively with an acid bite, slightly noticeable alcohol, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2011-2014+. What our ratings mean
