2020 Escherndorf Bacchus Spätlese VDP.Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat herbal to herbal and slightly almondy citrus scent with a hint of root vegetables and mint. Youthful, sweetish fruit with slightly red berry nuances and a hint of yeast, fine, lively acidity, some carbonic acid, candy, medicinal herbs and peach in the background, very light tannic grip, quite good persistence, chalky mineral notes in the good to very good finish
