Firm, deep, surprisingly cool nose, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, light floral and yeasty notes, citrus and pomaceous fruit, exotic touch, intense mineral notes. Very firm, juicy, concentrated fruit on the palate, lively acidity, herbaceous aromas, fine tannins provide firm grip, black berries and some exotic fruit reminiscent of passion fruit, hint of tobacco, peppery notes, hint of cardamom, majoran in the background, deep, concentrated and quite complex, erty and salty mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, tremendously vibrant, firm bite and more mineral notes on a long, firm, juicy finish. Very unusual style that one might not immediately associate with Silvaner, but without a doubt a great wine. Definitely needs time to mature.
