2020 Gössenheim Homburg Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, cool, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous nose, fresh pomaceous fruit with citrus notes, some smoke, a little citrus zest and floral traces. Quite juicy fruit with vegetal and nutty aromas, some fennel and a hint of mustard cucumber, very fine acidity, aniseed in the background, some butter, citrus zest again, clearly salty and slightly chalky minerality, a little white pepper and spring onions, very good, slightly warm finish with yellow spice, celery, parsley root and butter.
