2020 Michelbach Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, quite firm, yeasty and slightly herbaceous nose with bright yellow fruity and hinted bacony aromas as well as some minerality and ethereal nuances in the background. Bright, juicy fruit with yeasty and slightly spicy notes, very fine acidity and lots of grip, persistent, hints of spice, distinct minerality, some depth, very good, tangy and grippy finish with partly ethereal herbal notes and floral traces.

Best to drink: 2022-2026+. What our ratings mean
