2016 Michelbach Steinberg Riesling trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly firm nose, vegetal notes, earthy and chalky mineral notes, pomaceous fruit, some citrus and peach fruit. Firm, dry fruit on the palate, lively acidity, yeasty traces, tart vegetal aromas, prominent earthy and chalky mineral notes, persistent, has firm grip, some depth, good substance, hint of soy, still rather unapproachable, firm grip on a good to very good firm finish.
