2021 Uhlen Blaufüsser Lay Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs, Mosel, Germany

Nutty and a hint of yeasty fragrance with slightly warm yellow fruity and black berry aromas, a little tobacco, clams, distinct herbs and dried floral nuances. Ripe, juicy fruit with herbal-vegetable and hints of tobacco, slightly nutty-honey on the palate, delicately sweet melting, has power and substance, persistent, good depth, a little dark fruit in the background, quite distinct minerality, a hint of anise and liquorice, very good, juicy and finely spicy finish with some phenolic grip.
