2021 Hatzenport Kirchberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Mosel, Germany

Clear, tart citrus stone fruit nose with herbal and almost a little resinous tones reminiscent of pine needles, floral nuances and maple. Ripe, firm, tart fruit, lots of melting, fine acidity and some grip of friable tannin, nutty and again slightly reminiscent of maple tones, persistent, some power and warmth, a hint of butter in the background, ginger and turmeric, almost a little metallic minerality, very good, more spicy than juicy finish.
