2016 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Dep nose, intense mineral notes, light dred herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, light yellow spice, elegant ripe yellow fruit, fennel, hint of lardo, whiff od dried mushrooms. Very ripe, slightly warm and creamy dry, elegant fruit on the palate, extremely elegant acidity, some yellow spice, oily traces, integrated ripe tannins provide an elegant grip, deep and persistent, some dark berries in the background, prominent dark earthy and stony mineral notes, some parsley and bacon, more elegant, slightly warm fruit on a compley, long, spicy finish. Still very young, but already surprisingly approachable, can already be enjoyed now.
