2000 Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Aus den Schieferterrassen, Mosel, Germany

Closed botrytis nose with aromas of citrus fruit, peaches and apricots, notes of minerals and honey. Concentrated, sweet and very firmly structured fruit, surprisingly fresh, crisp style, very racy acidity, well defined, is still largely undeveloped, mineral notes on the palate, vibrant structure, great persistence and length. Needs time.
