2023 Bingen Viognier trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Smoky and nutty, somewhat light woody-spicy nose with pomaceous fruit and yellow fruity aromas, citrus nuances and herbaceous-vegetable tones. Ripe, quite juicy, somewhat warm, sweetish fruit, nutty and smoky wood spice, fine acidity, some grip, good substance and persistence, has power with rather moderate alcohol, mineral hints in the background, tobacco nuances, very good, again sweetish finish with rather tart spice.
