2020 Südsteiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, slightly smoky and reductive nose, light nutty, mushroomy and vegetal to dried herbaceous notes, yellow fruit, redcurrant leaves, fennel and mustard seed aromas. Polished, ripe, firm and juicy fruit with a certain mellowness, nutty and slightly vanilla wood flavours as well as hints of dark berries, lively acidity, has some grip, good substance, depth and persistence, salty and chalky minerality, butter toast and smoke in the background, very good finish with grip.

Best to drink: Bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
