2021 Thermenregion Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly smoky, meaty nose, more black than red berries, some dried root vegetables, dried herbs and a hint of iodine and soy sauce. Quite firm, tart, juicy, rather dark fruit, smoky, nutty, hint of roasted and slightly meaty tones, a little stewed paprika in the background, again a hint of iodine and soya, good persistence, has substance and a certain power, fine sandy tannins, a hint of juniper, good to very good, tart finish with grip and smoky spice. A lot of wine for the money.
