2016 Thermenregion Merlot Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly mature nose, red and black berries, dried vegetal and floral traces, lightdried herbs and toasted traces. Ripe, partly preserved, fairly mature fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, fairly prominent chocolate notes, integrated tannins, creamy, slightly jammy, toasted and light metallic notes in the background, noticeable warm alcohol, good to very good finish.
