Herbal and slightly smoky nose with fine vegetal and bright yellow fruity aromas as well as delicate barrel tones. Straightforward, quite sweet yellow fruit with fine acidity and delicate grip, some candy on the palate, apple-like notes, some persistence, salt and herbal-vegetal nuances in the background, hints of red berries, again delicate barrel tones, very good, only noticeably sweet finish again. Actually too sweet-tasting for a nominally dry wine.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
