2020 Lorch Kapellenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

A hint of floral citrus-stone fruit scent with very delicate herbal aromas reminiscent of pesto and hints of petrol. Ripe, juicy fruit, quite fine acidity, tart planty to herbal tones, again a little reminiscent of pesto, also because there is some garlic and pine nuts, still a trace of drying phenolic on the palate, which binds with air, hints of nutmeg, good persistence, a certain melting and some warmth, minerality in the background, has grip, very delicate sweetness at the end, very good, firm, juicy, herbal and intensely mineral finish.
