2022 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Riesling trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, somewhat fresh-vegetable and yeasty citrus-peach nose with herbal notes and floral traces. Slender, sweetish fruit with nutty, yeasty and fine planty to herbaceous flavours, a hint of dark berries in the background, fine, lively acidity and still a hint of carbonic acid, good persistence, delicate smoky nuances, certain minerality, delicate grip, good to very good, sweetish-juicy and finely spicy finish. A lot of wine for the money.
