2019 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Kirchenegg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Rather cool, clearly planty to herbal nose with white and yellow fruit aromas and wood nuances reminiscent of nut and nougat. Quite firm, tart fruit, clearly planty to herbal tones and again nutty, in addition also slightly smoky wood, quite fine acidity, some grip of crumbly tannin, good persistence, medium power, some smoked salt in the background, very good, relatively firm and tart finish with bite.
