2019 Merlot Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Slightly warm, a hint of bacon and meat on the nose, predominantly ripe dark berries with hints of tomato and a touch of cherries. Tart fruit with light vegetal and again fleshy notes, crumbly-sandy tannins, some persistence, certain power, but only limited depth, a hint of tomato in the background, hints of nuts and dark chocolate, good to very good finish.
