2017 Vulkanland Steiermark Chardonnay trocken "barrique", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Delicate yeasty traces on the nose, hint of bacon, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, restrained citrus and apple fruit, touch of oak. Fairly juicy, tart fruit on the palate, light smokey oak, hint of bacon, very elegant acidity, integrated tannins provide grip, slightly creamy with slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but also polished, good persistence, mineral notes, herbaceous traces, light spicy notes, very good, fairly juicy finish.
