2017 Vulkanland Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken "barrique", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Light nutty vanilla oak on the nose, white and green fruit, touch of exotic fruit, vegetal, herbaceous and mineral notes. Ripe, creamyfruit on the palate, smoky, toasted oak and some vanilla, herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, very elegant acidity, integrated, partlyastringent tannins provide some grip, medium body, noticeable warm alcohol, mineral notes in the background, spicy notes, very good, slightly warm, gripping finish.
