2022 Rück Schalk Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, almost cool, slightly smoky-reductive nose with polished yellow-fruity aromas, light wood tones, root vegetables and herbaceous nuances in the background. Firm, restrained, tart fruit with warm and cool elements, fine acidity, hint of ripe tannin, smoky tones and light wood, chalky-salty mineral tones in the background, some pointed cabbage still completely undeveloped, bacony nuances, very good, somewhat warm finish. Needs to mature.
