2020 Rück Schalk Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, fine-vegetable and hints of nuttiness with restrained, yet relatively noble aromas of ripe yellow fruits, herbal nuances, hints of coriander and fennel. Ripe, rather calm, melting, very slightly warm fruit, nutty and delicately smoky tones, fine acidity, lots of grip of crumbly tannin, lasting, has power and substance, certain depth, cedary traces, minerality in the background, still little developed, very good, again firm finish with ripe juice and smoky as well as dried-vegetable spiciness.
