2018 Spätburgunder trocken "Buntsandstein", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light earthy and dried vegetal notes on the nose, hint of mushrooms and tobacco, red and black berries. Fairly light-bodied, tart fruit on the palate, nutty, lightly toasted oak, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, fairly persistent, smoky and spicy aromas on a good, still very slightly astringent finish.
