Editor note: Translate to English Herber, nussig-holziger und an Fleischsuppe erinnernder Duft mit Spuren von Tabak sowie Aromen schwarzer und etwas roter Beeren. Gewisse Saftigkeit im Mund, etwas florale Töne und kandiert-nussige Anklänge, leicht trocknendes Tannin, spürbarer Alkohol, gewisse Nachhaltigkeit, ordentlicher Abgang.

One of the five specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area Burgenland. In 2016 a restructuring took place with partial changes in the designations and area boundaries. Central Burgenland was not affected by this, however; name and boundaries remained the same.
