The tradition-rich winery Günter and Renate Nastl is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. Attached is a Heuriger. The family has been growing wine since 1656. The farm is located in front of the Nikolauskirche, which is also included in the logo. The newly built cellar consists of three levels, from the uppermost one (where the grapes are delivered and taken over) you can enjoy a view of the most beautiful Langenlois vineyards. Today, the vineyards cover eight hectares in the Kittmannsberg, Ladner, Spiegel and Steinhaus vineyards. They are 75% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling,Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, Early Red Veltliner and , the rest is stocked with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, Merlot and St. Laurent.
Pest control is based on the strict regulations of KIP (Controlled and Integrated Production) with, for example, the use of predatory mites and the confusing method. In cooperation with the Technical University in Graz, a project is underway to produce the vineyard wines with the smallest possible "ecological footprint" using as little machinery as possible (minimising CO2 emissions), a lot of manual work in the vineyard, greening with herbs and red and yellow clover cultivation. The premium wines include various Grüner Veltliner and Riesling and Kamptal DAC Reserve, as well as Grüner Veltliner VelKam (Veltliner Kamptal) and the red wine "Nikolaus" (Zweigelt). In years with suitable weather conditions an ice wine is also pressed. Fine brandies and bottle-fermented Riesling sparkling wines are also produced.
