2019 Homburg Kallmuth Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken "Asphodill", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Very light, still undeveloped and slightly yeasty, clearly vegetal aroma with very restrained, slightly warm yellow fruity aromas with floral nuances, light mineral hints and hints of butter. Soft, melting, again bright fruit, chalky, vegetal and delicately buttery notes, restrained acidity that gains some bite with air, light grip, somewhat muted on the palate, noticeable alcohol, good, tart, warm and again buttery finish.

Editor note: Somewhat herbal and slightly peppery aroma with restrained, tart yellow fruity aromas, fine vegetable tones, delicate yellow spice and some minerality. Ripe, juicy, somewhat melting, not completely dry fruit, very fine acidity, nutty and spicy aromas, noticeable alcohol, slightly floral in the background, a hint of black berries, some drying tannin, buttery tones, good to very good, warm, slightly sweet flowing finish.
